I would say not because gold does not have a chemical composition. It is an element and if it is pure, there would be no other chemicals along with it to give clues about its origin.
That answer is true if the sample of gold is completely pure gold. In that case, there would be no indication of its origin. However, most actual samples of gold probably has some varying degree of impurities in it, and by looking at those trace impurities, you can probably find patterns relating to where it came from. For instance, probably certain gold mines probably have more of one specific impurity in the gold than other mines do, and so maybe if you found that impurity you could say it came from that mine. I don't know what impurities are present and how easy it would be to figure out where it came from even if you did know... but that'd be the best way to tell. So yes, it's possible, but almost certainly quite difficult and time consuming.

Yes

What do scientists study to learn about the properties of stars?

Scientists study stellar spectra to learn about their properties such as temperature, chemical composition and relative chemical abundances, radial velocity, rotational speed etc.

Can Scientists learn about the chemical composition of stars by analyzing the light they transmit.?

Scientists can learn the composition of a star from the amount and types of electromagnetic radiation, including light, that it gives off. Additionally, scientists can determine the rate of nuclear fusion from the amount of light released per unit of time.

What is an X-Ray Fluorescence spectometre used for?

An X-Ray Florescence (XRF) spectometre is used for analysing rocks, minerals, fluids and sediments. It is one of the most accurate methods of determining the chemical composition of many materials.

Explain why scientists consider ice to be a mineral?

Scientists consider ice to be a mineral because it is found naturally in nature. Ice has certain properties such as density and chemical composition leading it to be identified as a mineral.
