Believe it or not, it's Sprite Zero. I did an experiment to see whether plants grow in water better than Sprite Zero, and the Sprite Zero plants positively flourished! Hope that helps, from PNE.

No, a seed submerged in water can not grow. "And the reason why?" you may ask, is because a seed (like all plants) needs oxygen to grow and sprout. If the seed is in water its not getting the oxygen it needs. You can put seeds on a moist paper towel (wet), and then they'll sprout. Good Luck!

Does boiling water help bean seeds germinate?

Water that has boiled and just slightly cooled is good for leguminous seeds which have a very hard coating. However, beans do not like being submerged in water and their seeds are not as hard as some others in their family.
