The answer is no. Oranges have acid in them and are not safe for your mouse to eat. The same is with hamsters, too. No tomatoes either. They have acid in them as well. Try getting a book from your local library on pet mice. It will have a section on what and what not to feed them. Hope this helps.

No. Don't do it, especially not just to you see what happens. I presume oranges, lemons, lime, grapefruit are too acidic for them, thus harmful. Imagine what would happen if you drank a strong acid. There are websites on the topic of caring for hamsters, which clearly state what hamsters should and shouldn't eat. Hamsterific and Hamster Central are two of those. Go and do your homework.
