There is a monologue TO Jeannette. Barney is chasing her around his place by the end of it. Starts out "All right! All right, we're all no good. We're all indecent...."
You dont yet. I have emailed Wendelin Van Draanen, and she told me that there will be around 20 books, them she will probably make a movie. So dont freak, no need to worry about that yet. :)
Every director has different methods of auditioning. Most will tell you to learn a certain piece of script, or prepare a song from a certain genre. You will then be given a time you will be auditioning, go into the audition room in front of the directors panel, and present what you have prepared. Some directors, however, will do a workshop audition. They consider this a lot less stressful for the auditionees and being a professional actress I have to agree. In most workshop auditions, they will do a certain amount of exercises and acting tasks and movement tasks and voice exercises with you. You will always be in a room with other auditionees and don't have to prepare anything. You just turn up and do what the board of directors tell you too. They will always be watching you to see your standard. Hope this helps- Good luck ! :) Acting is very hard work and you need a whole lot of commitment and dedication but if you have a passion for it there's nothing better in the whole world.
To become a television actress you would probably have to get a talent agent who would look around and find jobs to audition for.

Around the age of 15
The monologue you are referring to is likely from Billy Crystal's Broadway show "700 Sundays." In this poignant monologue, he describes how as we age, we become the sparkle or twinkle in the eye of our loved ones, representing the lasting impact we have on those around us. It is a reflection on the beauty and significance of a life well-lived.
yes just look around
Because he had it with listening to your monologue, watching you drift off when you should have been listening to him, and just being 'around'.

Localization is the feature that Adobe includes in Audition that allows the product to be sold around the world and have menus that match many different local languages.
There will be auditions all around the country of the United states of America. As this is supposed to be a short filming time, and there is a release date of late 2013, there will be audition dates and places out around December 2012.
Probably around 15+ probably not younger though. =)
There are a ton of websites offering to audition you for TV shows. So look around on the web. But, be careful, there are a lot of scammers out there who just want your money. If they make you pay, don't do it. Its a trap
audition, audition, audition. That's the key. A good connection into the business is also a good thing to have but what you need to do is recognize your talents that set your apart from others around you, train in singing/dancing/acting and once you feel ready find where auditions are being held and go to them. Hope this is helpful(:
