Any perm can destroy youir hair. They have those awful damaging chemicals in their products.Well texturizers does the ame thing. But actually their making money off their products you keep buying that's keep breaking up your hair.I mean you can starighten your hair with a straight iron.or style and curl it anyway you liek without a perm.
You should use a straightening iron.
I do know that you can get a perm which will last for about 6 months
The perm may be weakened, but it shouldn't destroy your perm.
Yes. Relaxing (chemical straightening) has a higher pH than perm lotion, it is more alkaline, and is harder on the hair.
It's not recommended that you perm your hair after you have relaxed your hair. Perms are different from a Relaxer and they both contain different chemicals that's not compatible with each other. It can lead to hair breakage.
Neutralizer are applied after a relaxer or perm. A relaxer straightens and a perm curls. Neutralizer locks the hair into it's straight shape and it also removes the chemicals from your hair to make it stop working.
No. The perm solution is a chemical and if you don't use a neutralizer to stop the chemical it will destroy your hair.
Yes. My hair was straight with only a little wave, I put it in a perm a year ago and it was awesome...just remember, it's permanent. I'm sick of it now, but I have to wait until it finishes growing out. If I don't do anything to my hair, the top of it is straight and then near my ears it's wavy. Not so awesome.
As you may know perms will grow out as your hair grows but if you want a perm that does not stay in it is better to go for a looser perm. However if you want to have curled hair for a short period of time it is better to use curling tongs. I had a perm 6 months ago and it is very bad for your hair so avoid dying your hair aswell and straightening it. Make sure you are sure you want to have a perm. It is expensive, and not easy to hide if you don't like it.
ummmmm... really who evr asked dis question, itz called a perm and a flat iron babay!!!!!!!! lol smiley face
Straightening.
The straightening iron will probably do less damage to your hair than a straightening kit. The straightening kit contains chemicals, but a straightener is just heat.
