The scientific method is a scientific method for systematically acquiring new knowledge. The scientific method is typically applied to experiments, involving taking a hypothesis and using it to get applicable results.
Research is defined as human activity based on intellectual application in the investigation of matter. The primary aim for applied research is discovering, interpreting, and the development of methods and systems for the advancement of human knowledge on a wide variety of scientific matters of our world and the universe. Research can use the scientific method, but need not do so. Research is when you search for stuff on the net, and you write it down in a book.

Astonomers, like all scientists, dont have one single method ,or "The Scientific Method". They have a wide variey of ways to solve problems.
The Greeks were the pioneers of the "Mechanistic" method of looking at the world, eschewing the old notions of telling stories about why things happened. They no longer asked "why" just "How". This was the beginning of the "Scientific Method". The transition was not sudden. Aristotle was considered a great scientist, but spoke a lot about an object's "desire" to do this or that. Scholasticism, where questions were answered by often convenient logic lasted through the middle ages. It is said that Oriental science stalled because of the wide-spread belief that an experiment done in isolation could not be useful in the real world.
Doing research on something by using the World Wide Web to get the information being looked for.
Model specification refers to the detailed assumptions and form of the statistical model used to analyze data, while research methodology outlines the overall approach and procedures used to conduct the study, including data collection, analysis, and interpretation. In other words, model specification focuses on the specific statistical model chosen, while research methodology encompasses the broader framework of the study.
they are scientists so they use science for god sake they are smart
The world wide web (usually just called the internet) is used widely throughout the world for work, play, research, chat, socializing and millions of different other things.
Tim Berners-Lee developed the world wide web in 1989 at the Europeon organizition fro Nuclear Research.

The manager, while managing people, products, events, and environments will invariably face problems, big and small, and will have to seek ways to find long lasting effective solutions. This can be achieved only through knowledge of research even if consultants are engaged to solve problems. The primary purpose for applied research (as opposed to basic research) is discovering, interpreting, and the development of methods and systems for the advancement of human knowledge on a wide variety of scientific matters of our world and the universe. Research can use the scientific method, but need not do so. The goal of the research process is to produce new knowledge, which takes three main forms (although, as previously discussed, the boundaries between them may be fuzzy): Exploratory research, which structures and identifies new problems Constructive research, which develops solutions to a problem
