No, it's a totally separate system. Actually the cooling fan is a very important part of the a.c system .without the fan pulling air through the ac condenser the freon will start to expand by heat,causing the normal pressures 30 psi lowside 210 high side freon pressures can triple to over 700 psi causing freon to automatically purge out the relief valve and even seize the compressor and clutch assy. so hell yeah it affect a/c comp
