What is relativism that what is true for one is not for the other?

The answer to your question can be found in this real life example. The "War on Terror". For some view "terrorists" as bad guys and view themselves as the good guys. To the "terrorists" they view the west as the bad guys and themselves as good guys. It all depends on the mind that is perceiving it. When you get caught into either of these sides, your mind is trapped in relativity. Whenever you have a "Me vs. them" perception you are caught in the relativity of the mortal mind. It is death. I say mortal mind because a dualistic mind cannot exist on its' own - because it is dualistic. There are two of them. They must be in opposition to each other for each other to exist.

In other words, opinion is a subjective view while perception is how we interpret the world around us.
