Not in the legal sense. In the US a minor who is pregnant or has a child has all the same rights to her child as does an adult. The minor cannot be forced to have an abortion, place the child for adoption or in forced to relinquish her parental rights in any manner except by a direct order of the court. The court does not have the power to force a minor female to have an abortion or place a child for adoption but it can remove the child from the mother's care if there is proof of abuse or neglect. A pregnant minor who needs assistance should contact the state's division of children and family services (sometimes called health or human services or something similar). Other contact possibilities; Planned Parenthood 1-800-230-7526, http://www.plannedparenthood.org Birthright 1-800-550-4900, http://www.birthright.org

Can the mother of a minor who has had a baby dictate what happens with the baby Can she tell the babies mother that she can not let the baby go spend the night at the babies fathers house?

In most cases the mother of the child is considered permanently emancipated as far as the child is concerned. What this means is you can tell her she cannot spend the night with the father, but not that the child cannot spend the night with the father. That is up to the mother and father of the child. If you have what you consider valid concerns about the health and safety of the child while it's with the father, you will have to take your daughter to court.
