In most states, no.
You can. They probably won't do anything. Call the loan company to see where you can get your things or they will mail them to you.
Buy a bus pass. Or get ahold of your lender and see what they want to get the car back.
I wanted to add to my original question...Our car was repossessed by the finance company because they said they found out someone else was using the car because of car payments being sent from a different address. AND, they stated that they wanted to see the condition of the car. I thought a car would only be repossessed if you were late on payments? I have never heard of this, so I don't know what is going on.
dont see why not. I've repoed a car within a hour of getting the assignment.
All Police in North America can check that either in car or by Radio call
there is a cheat that turns all cars black and that makes the police car hard to see
radar waves.
Call the police, if you can see the plates write it down and tell the police. Make sure your doors are locked and drive to a police station if possible.
No you will not be arrested. Turn the car in if you are not going to make the payments. Having you car repossessed is a horrible idea, if there is any way you can avoid it. Talk to the lender and see if you can work something out. Remember you will still owe the balance on the difference in what they sell the car for and what is owed. Plus you credit is ruined for 7 years.
The debt is NOT forgiven. See link below. ArizonaRevisedStatutes
If your car has been repossessed by the bank for missing payments, the quickest and most efficient way to retrieve your vehicle is to contact the bank and make your back payments. When contacting the bank about back payments see if there is a new payment plan system that you can set up with them that is more beneficial to you, to avoid having the car repossessed again.
Yes ... you can see it ... anyone can see it ... it is in plain view. However, it is on private property and a warrant may be required to remove it unless it is being repossessed.
