no they cannot, tansformers requires change of electromagnetic field,on Direct current there is no change so the transformer cannot create field and transfer energy
DC Motor works on DC source and AC motor works on AC source
She didn't "transform" into one. lol She works as a maid.
The Siemens DC drive is a masterdrive which is utilized on an Integrated Device Electronics Chain. The DC drive works by suppling AC and DC power to the drive.
Transformers are not used on DC circuits because they rely on a varying magnetic field to transform power.
You can plug an AC computer into a DC plug only if you also have an inverter to transform the DC power into the AC power that the computer power supply expects.
dc series moter
Fourier series and the Fourier transform
Because a battery works by the chemical action of the electrolyte on the plates. The process works slowly, and it works with a constant potential, which is inherently DC.
I should think not
no
a dc ammeter is a ammeter which has three pins and it works by two wires.
Early on there were experiments with large-scale DC usage, but AC is so much easier to transform, so it's dominating the market entirely. There are still special applications where DC is used though.
