Yes you can as long as they write it as a multi car policy an you usally get a discount for that.I have 3 on one policy.I have a friend that has 2 on one policy and one of them doesn't even run but it's cheaper because of the multi car discount. Also you need to be listed as the only driver so it's even cheaper, because you can only drive one at a time.

What are the difference between the marine Insurance policy and insurance certificate?

A Marine Insurance Policy is the actual contract of insurance between the insurer and the insured. Would you have to pay two deductibles if you hit one of your cars with another?

Ordinarily, if both cars were insured under the same auto policy, many insurers waive the deductible on both. This is likewise the case if two unrelated insureds of the same insurer have a collision.

If I have two separate policies for two separate cars is this considered double coverage?

Not heard of the term double coverage in Insurance. If you had two cars both would require insurance. They could be insured on separate insurance contracts with either the same insurer or 2 different insurers if you prefer . There is a policy now available for householders with more than one vehicle. This type of policy is often refered to as a Multi Vehicle policy where numerous cars are covered under one policy with the insurer giving an additional discount for the multi purchase.

Can a person own a car but be insured under another person's policy?

For a car to be covered, the policy must be issued in the name of the titled owner of the vehicle. No one else has an insurable interest in the vehicle.

If you own two cars do they both have to be insured with the same insurance company?

No, however you would create a real argument should you be injured in someone else's car and tried to look to your carrier for coverage. Which one would want to jump in and pay policy limits voluntarily? No, but often having two cars carried under the same policy/carrier will often qualify you for a multiple car discount.

Can you drive some one car if it insured and im over twenty five?

If you are properly insured under your states Financial Responsibility laws then yes you can drive someone elses vehicle. Your age has no bearing on this. Bare in mind that just because the owner of the car has insurance does NOT mean that "You" will be covered under that persons policy, such as an "Operators Policy" also known as a "Named Driver Policy". Coverage for permissive use is determined by the type of policy the owner has in place on the vehicle.

Do you need a car to be an insured driver?

Not one of your own-generally you are insured by the owner's policy if you are using someone else's car (with permission)
