Yes they can, but with the new ios 5.0 they will automatticly back every thing up on a daily bases. but u can have a 100 iphones,ipods,ipads or on one computer. u have torun them on the same iTunes acount, otherwise when u buy a song or app and the phone updates it will take them off depending wut itunes account is on the computer. so u would have to run the same itunes account on both of them. but then when one of the phones buys a song it will put it on the other phone to, as will apps and other purchesed items.
