What gender are the rabbits? If both Netherland Dwarfs are bucks then it is almost a guarantee that they will not get along. Bucks are extremely aggressive to other bucks and will even fight until death. If both of the rabbits are females, then there is a chance they will get along when they are young, but as they reach maturity they may start fighting. Of course, this does depends on each rabbits personality. The best combination of two Netherland Dwarfs would be a fixed buck and a doe. The buck must be fixed or you will get lots of babies (which is not good on the doe's body). Rabbits generally do best when they are caged separately, although there are exceptional cases where two rabbits get along just fine. The choice is up to the owner, but there are always unpredictable risks when putting two rabbits together.

No. The only males that get along in the animal kingdom are dolphins and some species of bird. Every other male(including humans) is territorial and though it may be a day or two you will see your rabbits getting into fisticuffs over who is the alpha and who is the beta male. no male rabbits can only live together when they are introduced to each other when at leaced one of then are under 4 months old

How many vaccinations do dwarf rabbits need?

Dwarf rabbits need the same vaccinations as all pet rabbits. What vaccinations are required for your pet rabbit depends on where you live. In the UK, rabbits require two vaccinations: one against Myxomatosis and the other against VHD (Viral Hemorrhagic Disease). there should be two weeks between the administration of these vaccinations. In many parts of North America, however, no vaccinations are required (or even available) for rabbits at all. Contact a local pet rabbit organization or a "rabbit-savvy" vet to find out what vaccinations are required for rabbits in your area.

What rabbits get along?

It depends on the rabbits/gerbils personality. You can never tell without putting them together. Try putting them together, but make sure you're ready to stop any fighting if they don't get on. It's up to the animals really whether they do or not.

Can you place two female rabbits in the same cage?

First answer: yes you can they get along very well, it's very unusual for them not too. A different opinion: Actually, rabbits often don't get along with each other, at least not right away. You can't just put two rabbits in a cage together and expect them to get along. Before you keep two rabbits together, you have to "bond" them. Sometimes bonding goes very quickly, just a couple of weeks; other times, it can take months. Generally speaking, the rabbits have to be spayed before they're bonded. Two female rabbits raised together from the same litter may get along fine without being spayed; otherwise, they probably won't. Spaying also has behavioural benefits and health benefits (particularly regarding ovarian cancer, which is very common in young female rabbits). Can domestic dwarf rabbits eat dates?

Dates are very high in sugar, especially dried dates. A lot of sugar can make a rabbit very sick. One small bite of a dried date is fine for your pet dwarf rabbit as a treat, or two small bites of fresh date, but no more! Larger rabbits can have a tiny bit more than that but a sugary treat like this should be really limited.

Can rabbits be in the same cage together if they were grown up together be truthful because people say they can?

Some can, Some can't. It all depends. Usually a male and female can get along, but they will be multiplying and making little rabbits. 2 Males on the otherhand don't usually get along. They will fight with each other on some occasions and try to claim dominance. I have had this problem with my two male rabbits and we had to have them seperated.

Do dwarf rabbits get along with full-sized rabbits?

One person wrote: No, the dwarf will be neglected. The above opinion may be true in that person's experience, but it's not a widely recognized fact. Dwarf rabbits have often been known to bond with rabbits bigger than themselves -- even a giant and a dwarf can get along!Whether or not two rabbits will get along depends on hormones* and individual personality. There are good ways and bad ways to introduce rabbits. If you have a local rabbit rescue or rabbit-friendly animal shelter, ask if they perform bonding services, or if they have any advice for how to bond two rabbits. There's tons of excellent resources online about bonding rabbits. NEVER LET RABBITS FIGHT! A small bite, invisible at first, can turn into a huge (and expensive) abscess.See related links and questions below for more details. The links below apply to dwarf rabbits and full-sized rabbits. (In most ways, dwarfs and full-sized rabbits are exactly the same.)* This is one of many reasons why it's widely recommended to neuter/spay rabbits. Two unspayed females can often get along, but two unneutered males will usually fight (to the death!); and a male and female will quickly reproduce. Before you let your rabbits breed, pease consider all the bunnies in shelters waiting to be adopted (many killed simply because there's no room to keep them). Breeding is a big responsibility: don't let it happen by accident!

Is this question 'At what age do dwarf rabbits come out of the nest'? If so the answer is anywhere from two weeks to three weeks. They open their eyes at 10 days of age.

Do flemish giants get along with mini lops because i am getting two rabbits for my birthday i want a flemish giant and a mini lop but do they get along?

I would introduce them at a young age, preferably under 6 months. This will increase the chances of them getting along significantly. However i would NOT recommend this, as large rabbits do kick and such, even with rabbits they are playing with, just like a rabbit can smother/kick a guinea pig to death, two rabbits of drastically different sizes can be dangerous for the smaller.

Do Rabbits Get Along With Sugar Gliders?

In my experience, no. Sugar Gliders can be very aggressive towards other species. I have two male sugar gliders and they are quite aggressive when around my rabbits.

Can netherland dwarf rabbits be sold at 2 weeks old?

NO! NO, NO, NO, NO, NO!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!! Rabbits cannot be sold until they are at least two MONTHS old!!!!! Well, they can't be taken from their mothers until they are two months old. If you want to pre-pay a breeder when the bunny is two months old but then wait to bring the bunny home until he is at least two monts old, obviously that is fine.
