I would introduce them at a young age, preferably under 6 months. This will increase the chances of them getting along significantly.
However i would NOT recommend this, as large rabbits do kick and such, even with rabbits they are playing with, just like a rabbit can smother/kick a guinea pig to death, two rabbits of drastically different sizes can be dangerous for the smaller.
Flemish giants are rabbits that weigh from 15 to 20lbs.
Getting rabbits wet is probably not good for their health. Wash their feet if they get urine stains on them or so forth but they can chill easily, I highly do not recommend bathing rabbits!!!
Most rabbits live from 7-10years
Flemish giants, when not as house pets, are typically used to show for 4H projects. They are not desirable as typical meat rabbits due to their bone mass at the fryer age, but they are desirable as roasting rabbits when raised to at least 6 months.
my rabbits birthday is on September 17, 1976....when is yours??
It really depends on the breed. The Netherland Dwarf is about 2lbs, but the Flemish Giant is about 13lbs.
They can be a little over 2 feet long.
Flemish are large rabbits, very rangey, with large ears and feet. New Zealands are a medium large rabbit with excellent meat type, they are compact and meaty with medium bone structure.
See the related question below about rabbits playing for ideas about rabbit toys.
Flemish Giants are a domesticated breed. Not being naturally occurring, they don't have any natural predators. Had they been naturally occurring, they'd have pretty much he same enemies as wild rabbits. Although their size would probably have protected adults from some of the smaller predators.
Rabbits usually like to hear sounds of other bugs because they know where to find them if they are getting louder.
No, there are small breed like the Netherland Dwarf Rabbit and HUGE breeds like the Flemish Giant! And everything in between! :-I
