I think there are laws in place to prosecute those who hire illegal aliens. You should be very careful. Look at some of the prominent people who have been exposed negatively for having maids and nannies for their children who were illegals.

How can a US citizen sponsor an illegal immigrant from Mexico so that they may remain or return to the US?

Your question reveals an unconscious bias. You said,= "How can a US citizen sponsor an illegal immigrant...." = If you "sponsor" them, they are not an "illegal immigrant." Careful, the way your question is phrased says a lot about you. The very term "illegal immigrant" is insulting to ....migrant workers, especially. Mexican citizens surely don't like the phrase and, by the way, Superman was apparently an "illegal immigrant" and you SURELY wouldn't want to insult HIM.

Can you sponsor yourself for a green card in the US?

No. Your sponsor must already be a U.S. resident so you, as a non-resident, cannot sponsor yourself. Think if you have any relatives, friends, or employers who you can ask to sponsor you!

Are all discriminatory actions in the workplace illegal?

No, almost none are. Employers identify and act on the differences between workers - discriminate - all the time. Employers choose workers for assignments based on attendance, skill, personality, seniority, training, licensure. All legal. Employers with 15 or more employees cannot give any weight to race, sex, age, religion, color, or disability. Almost no employer does that, and most US edmployers are not even subject to Title VII.

Can an illegal alien from Mexico who entered the US illegally is paying child support for his illegal alien children and is married to a US citizen but has no children with his wife be deported?

Yes. He should have had his wife start the procedures to sponsor his citizenship when they got married. If she knew he was illegal, she, too, could face criminal charges for housing an illegal alien. Since no illegal can enter into a legally binding contract, the marriage may not be legal either.
