It depends.

Usually a tampon will not damage your hymen.

Remember, though, using a tampon does not mean you're not a virgin. You only lose your virginity when you have sexual intercourse.

It is possible for tampons to tear the hymen.

The hymen is tissue that surrounds the vaginal opening - in most cases this is a narrow band of tissue so doesn't cover much of the vaginal opening, and the hymen is flexible, thus it can allow small items like tampons through without tearing (many women's hymens remain in tact even after having intercourse, only tearing when they give birth).

If you look at your vulva you should be able to see your hymen to see if it is still in tact and whether it is likely to be effected by tampon use. Bear in mind that the hymen is nothing but left-over tissue from development within the womb, it doesn't mean anything if it is torn.

Yes, you can use a tampon and still have a hymen - most people do.

The hymen is tissue that surrounds the opening to the vagina, in most cases the hymen doesn't cover much of the vaginal opening and it's flexible so even if the opening in the hymen was unusually narrow it can still stretch to allow the tampon through. Tampon use can tear the hymen but this is very unlikely unless you were very rough or used a lot of force pushing a tampon into the hymen.

Yes, it is possible that a tampon can tear the hymen but not very likely.

The hymen typically doesn't cover much of the vaginal opening so a tampon can typically pass through without issue, the hymen is also flexible so can stretch to accommodate bigger things than tampons. If insertion/penetration is rough then the hymen can be torn, but this isn't likely to happen if you're gentle when inserting a tampon. Even if torn it doesn't matter, the hymen has no function and it is not an indication of virginity, the hymen is just a little tissue left over from development in the womb.

How do you take out a tampon with a septate hymen?

You remove the tampon in the same way that you inserted the tampon, you simply pull out. If your hymen gets in the way then gently push it back so you can pull the tampon out through the hymen. If you have problems then you can always use pads instead, and ask for surgery to have the hymen cut so that it doesn't pose you any more problems - but whether you do this or not is up to you.

How do you get a tampon out if you're a virgin I understand getting it in through the opening in your hymen but once it fills wouldn't it be too big to take out fromthe small hole without stretching?

In most women the hymen doesn't cover much of the vaginal opening - often it's nothing more than a narrow cresent shaped piece of tissue on the back of the vaginal opening, thus often at most all that happens is that the tampon gets sutck behind the hymen and it just takes re-angling to remove the tampon. If the hymen covers a little more of the vaginal opening then yes the expanded tampon may stretch the hymen - the hymen stretching is perfectly normal, it shouldn't cause any pain and doesn't mean anything.

Do tampons pop a girl's cherry?

Girls do not have a cherry, and nothing pops. This term refers to the hymen, which is tissue that surrounds the vaginal opening - the hymen doesn't cover much of the vaginal opening so can easily allow something small like a tampon to pass through without any affect on the hymen. The hymen is also flexible so can stretch to allow far larger things than tampons through without any tearing. The hymen will typically only tear if penetration is forced or rough, or it can remain in tact up until a woman gives birth vaginally, a tampon is very unlikely to cause any tearing to the hymen at all.

Do tampons stretch your vaginal opening?

No, tampons cannot stretch your vaginal opening. The vagina is a muscular tube so cannot be stretched - just like your arm cannot be made longer by exercising more. Your vagina is designed to allow a penis to enter it and a baby to come out of it, in both cases although the vagina will stretch to accommodate these things it will always return to normal - tampons are so small it wouldn't even need to stretch. Tampon use may stretch the hymen - the hymen is a thin piece of tissue surrounding the vaginal opening, normally there's enough room to allow a tampon through without any problem, but if your hymen is wider using a tampon may stretch the hymen. The hymen is simply left-over tissue from development in the womb, it serves no function so it being stretched or torn makes no difference to your vagina or anything else.

Will it hurt to take out a super tampon?

It should not hurt to remove a tampon. If a tampon is dry, and has not collected very much menstrual fluid, it can sometimes be a little bit tricky to remove, because of the dryness. However, it should not be painful. It should not hurt any more than inserting a tampon in.

What are the chances of breaking your hymen inserting a tampon?

Very low. The hymen doesn't cover much of the vagina so normally there's enough room for something small like fingers or tampons to fit through, the hymen is also flexible so can stretch to accommodate larger things such as speculums or penises. The hymen does not 'break', it can tear but often only if penetration is rough or forced. Even if the hymen does tear it's not a problem as it serves no function, means nothing, and doesn't normally cause any pain.

Will using tampons at a young age deflower you?

Deflowering refers to the hymen being torn - tampons at any age shouldn't tear the hymen. The hymen doesn't cover much of the vaginal opening and the hymen is flexible so it can stretch to accommodate things being inserted vaginally, as long as insertion isn't rough or the tampon isn't forced through the hymen it shouldn't tear. The hymen cannot be torn from things such as running or acrobatics, it can only be torn via vaginal penetration or childbirth, the hymen can no more tear from activity than any other tissue in your body.

Can a tampon get stuck on its own accord or does it have to be pushed somehow?

A tampon cannot really get stuck at all. A tampon can go no further than your vaginal canal, it can't be pushed any higher than that. As long as you are using a tampon and relaxed upon removal the tampon will come out.

When you put a tampon in do you brack the little pics of skin?

No, there's no need to 'break' any skin when you use tampons. It's likely that you're referring to the hymen, this is tissue that surrounds the vaginal opening in some people. The hymen cannot break but it can sometimes be torn from vaginal penetration, although normally only if penetration is rough or forced. The hymen doesn't cover much of the vaginal opening so something small like a tampon can easily pass through the hymen, even bigger things like sex toys, a penis, or a speculum can normally pass through the hymen without tearing as it's flexible so stretches.

But your wife never came with such as riding a horse rough play falling on something?

Then perhaps her hymen is just stretched. Quote from the Related Link: "...your hymen can be broken in any sort of ways - riding a bike, horseback riding, gymnastics, masturbation, during a pelvic exam at the doctor's office. You could break your hymen with a tampon, yes, but you could break in all sorts of non-sexual ways. A sign of this could be bleeding, but women have also had their hymen broken without any bleeding or pain. So, having an intact hymen is not the definition of being a virgin."

Can you pop your cherry with a tampon?

You don't have a cherry and nothing 'pops'.You may have a hymen, this is tissue that surrounds the opening to the vagina - in most cases this doesn't cover much of the vaginal opening and the hymen is flexible so will stretch to accommodate tampons or even larger things such as a penis during sex. The hymen can be torn as a result of inserting things vaginally but most commonly this will only occur if you use force or if you're rough.

Do tampons break your hymen?

Yes, any penetration of the vagina can tear or break the hymen, depending on the hymen's shape and thickness. Sometimes strenuous sports can break it. A finger, a tampon, a sex toy, or a penis might break it. However, some hymens are simply too thick to break or substantially stretch without a great deal of effort and pain, in which case you may want to consider a hymenotomy (incision which widens the opening) or a hymenectomy (complete removal of the hymen). No it's too small. But if you do some hard fiscal activity then yes it's possible.Yes,it can break your hyman and you will know when it happens many other things can break it aswell.
