Yes, a radio requires very little power to operate.
Just hook up the charger to the battery while it is still in the car and do not unhook it.
No, the PlayStation 3 wireless controller will not still work if the battery does not take a charge. The controller will not have enough power to connect to the console.
No power? Do you also have No headlights? No horn? No radio? If so, check: 1. Clean the inside of the battery terminals 2. Check for blown fuses, fusible links, and relays Did you charge the battery after you bought it? New batteries are not fully charged when you buy them new.
When it will not hold a charge nor take a charge it is defective. Of course something might be on pulling power from the battery. Any light or stuck relay. Disconnect the negative battery cable, charge the battery with a battery charger and let it sit overnight. The next day if the battery is still charged it is ok and you have something pulling power from the battery. If it ran down the battery has a dead cell and is defective.
First of all, the battery has to still be in the DS to charge it. Don't ever take it out. To charge the battery, plug the small end of your charger into the matching port on the DS, and plug the large end into a power source (usually a wall outlet, but sometimes a car power outlet or USB port). Make sure the power source is turned on.
If you charge the battery and it is not working then there is something wrong with the battery. Batteries are not usually repairable.
Have the battery checked out. It may have a dead cell and not holding a charge,
Somehow I got it to work. All I had to do was format the memory and reset the settings to default. I'm still curious, though, about if it will power up by an external usb battery, or if it will only charge by one.
no
Yes... there could be sufficient charge to power the lights or other minor power consuming devices but still have insufficient power to engage the starter. Best bet is to take the battery to an auto parts store and have checked.
Yes.
Either the battery has a dead cell or something is on, drawing power from the battery. Disconnect the positive cable and fully charge the battery. If the battery is dead the next day it needs replacing. If it is still good then find what is on all the time or look for a stuck relay.
