When in their active phase a werewolf is not interested in anything as mundane as love. In their human phase they are as receptive as anyone.

∙ 11y agoyes, because if you look at the book breaking dawn, renesme and Jacob they imprinted on each other and even though renesme was half vamp half human she was still a vampire so yes, vampires and werewolves can fall in love. But they would have to resist the smell :D//---That's all a bunch of T.V nonsense, if you wanna know the truth here it is. Vampires and Werewolves can fall in love yes, but it is not permitted. The reason is because you see Werewolves are our mortal enemies, always have been, always will. So if one of us Vampires we're to fall in love with a Werewolf, either our tribe or the Werewolves tribe would immediately find them and execute them. This is a law that all honorable Vampires and Werewolves must follow.

On a more serious note: most mythologies put the vampire and werewolf at opposite ends of the monster paradigm making them ill-suited to living together. (I.e. vampires are immortal, werewolves are mortal, vampires are rich and cultured, living in mansions, werewolves are poor and brutish skulking in the forests, vampires feed on humans by choice, werewolves are unaware of their actions while they are in wolf form.) There are modern interpretations of vampire werewolf harmony (see both British and American "Being Human" series), but the idea that they could be happy together (in a romantic way) is still not well explored. Traditionally, the motif is to mix an average human with one of the monsters, not both.
