Yes, they make a full synthetic and a synthetic blend.
Semi synthetic or synthetic blend is a combination of synthetic and conventional oil. Full synthetic oil is just that 100% synthetic oil.
Yes, semi synthetic is a blend of synthetic and conventional oil already.
Synthetic is 100% synthetic. There are blends sold that are part synthetic & regular oil. Look for a quart that sates FULL or 100% Synthetic. If it says Synthetic Blend then it is not 100% Synthetic.Synthetic is 100% synthetic. There are blends sold that are part synthetic & regular oil. Look for a quart that sates FULL or 100% Synthetic. 10w30 or 5w30 conventional , synthetic blend, or full synthetic will do
Not at all, you can go from full synthetic back to reg. oil then to semi, then full with no problems unless the vehicle has synthetic only specified for it (eg: some newer VWs)
You can use synthetic, synthetic blend, or conventional oil. It is your choice.
10w 30 blend. not full synthetic but not full oil
5W30, 10W30 regular, synthetic blend, or Full synthetic will work just fine
It is a combination of synthetic oil and conventional oil.
Yes, that is what a synthetic blend is that they sell.
I work for a lube distributor. It is fine to go from synthetic to synthetic blend. Here's the difference: No manufacturer will actually release how much synthetic is in their synthetic blend formula. It may actually be closer to a conventional oil than a synthetic oil. The benefit of synthetic is that it offers better protection for your vehicle/ machinery. The secret is that it only makes a true difference if you're one of those people who doesn't change your oil regularly. If you choose to go synthetic blend, make sure you keep up with how often you change your oil!
