Pre med is just a curriculum layout or sometimes referred to as a tract, which prepares students who intend to seek admission to medical schools. It includes activities such as prerequisite coursework, clinical experience, volunteer activities, and research. While many individuals who pursue a career as a physician major in Biology at the undergraduate level, many others come from a variety of other educational backgrounds. Thus, you can take a pre med program while majoring in anthropology. Now, I am a bit confused as to why your are taking a pre med tract yet plan to be a nurse. The nursing curriculum does have some differences in terms of prerequisite coursework and other critical science courses that may not be required for a premed. For example, instead of cell biology and biology of the organism within pre med, you would take anatomy and physiology I and II for nursing. In addition, a major in anthropology curriculum is going to be quite different. You believe you really need to acquire a vision; a clearly articulate picture to the future you intend to create for yourself, which should be based on a passion for what you what to do. Be very specific, and once you have that vision, you should totally focus on the field until it becomes a reality for you. I just appears you are not focused yet, and are looking in a few directions rather than a solid focus on one. Once you acquire that vision, your path will become clear.
