What can you do as a renter when the landlord has not paid asessment fees to the association?

If the association fees are part of the obligations of your landlord under your lease agreement you could pay the fees directly, then deduct them from the rent, sending a letter to the landlord with the accounting. You should check to see if there is a landlord-tenant agency in your area and call for advice.

Can a landlord cancel the lease agreement after it has been signed by both parties and the deposit has been paid?

Most lease contracts have a clause that reserves the landlord's right to cancel the agreement if certain conditions are met. If you believe your contract does not support that right, then the landlord may be violating the terms of the agreement. The only way to know for sure is to study the contract, or hire the services of a lawyer to help interpret the contract.

Can your payment for a loan be refused?

If You Have Had Your Loan Turned Over To A Collection Agency Then Your Payment Will Have To Be Paid To The Agency. Until An Agreement Is Reached By Both Parties. Or The Loan Is Paid Off. If This Has Not Happened, Set Down And Read Your Loan Contract. Then If In Doubt, Take This To Your County Attorney.

Can a landlord keep your security deposit if you move out early?

it depends on the type of lease you have and what it states as a proper termination period. If you are on a month-to-month tenancy, the landlord gives you 30 days notice and you move out during that 30-days and have paid a full month's rent, then no, he cannot keep your deposit. If you leave without paying the full month's rent, then yes, your landlord has the right to keep your deposit as "unpaid rent money" unless he/she is able to re-rent the apartment. If they re-rent it, then you will get some of your deposit (prorated). Hope this helps. :)

Do you have to pay the travel charge card bill by the due date even if you have not been reimbursed by your agency organization?

Yes you do. Your 'contract' is with the card issuer - and you must pay their bill by the date they specify. It's then up to you to contact the agency, and get them to reimburse you. It's not the card company's fault that the agency hasn't paid you yet !
