Being late for your period doesn't always signal pregnancy, it could be stressed induced etc. The instructions for the patch state you will get your period anytime during the week off.. so it may just be late in coming. The instructions state that if you miss your period, but haven't had any patches put on late, to go on to your next cycle of patches, but if you had some patches that were put on late, or miss a second period that you should contact your doctor to be tested for pregnancy! ~pawsalmighty you can always take a test and see if you are or not. If you test positive: go to the dr.

Hello, It is possible you could become pregnant while not wearing the patch for a few days because the patch will not be protecting you against pregnancy for the few days you wasn't wearing it. If you suspect you could be pregnant, then see your doctor 7 days after intercourse for a quantitative beta hcg blood test to determine if you're pregnant or not. Take care.
