Can you become pregnant if you are fifty two years old on low dose hormone replacement therapy?
Replacement therapy is very effective in treating hemophilia. In the past 35 years the clotting factor concentrates have become better and safer to the point where a person with hemophilia has a near normal life expectancy, and many who use prophylaxis (preventative treatments) as their replacement therapy see little to no loss in their physical abilities or their quality of life. Unfortunately a small percentage of the population develops what are known as inhibitors. Inhibitors are basically an immune response to the clotting factor protein. The antibodies can quickly wipe out the clotting factor making replacement therapy useless. Many of these rare individuals can successfully treat the inhibitor with what is termed Inhibitor Override Therapy. If override therapy works, replacement therapy should also become successful.
A woman can become a hermaphrodite through FtM hormone therapy, and once the clit/penis has reached it's maximal size, a minor surgery to move the urethra to the tip of her new penis. At this point she may stop the hormone therapy, and will retain most of her length. The problem with this is ofcourse, the strong possibility of growing facial hair.A man may become a hermpahrodite through MtF hormone therapy, and undergoing surgucal procedures inteded to create a new vagina in women with Vaginal Agenesis. Just make sure your surgeon understands what you wish to become, so you don't lose your penis through miscommunication.
Men become women using hormone therapy and surgeries to change their genitals, breasts and facial features, etc. See the related link below.
Yes, especially if they do a blood test. As soon as you become pregnant, "preg factor" hormone appears in the blood. A blood laboratory test is very accurate, because they are looking for that hormone. A urine test works on the same concept; reacting to preg factor hormone in the urine; a blood test can look for lower levels of the hormone.
As far as pills are concerned, the best way to become feminine is to be prescribed hormone therapy (HRT) and see an endocrinologist for appropriate action. But, for men who aren't transgendered, I have seen female hormone pills for sale on ebay.
No, the corpus luteum secretes the hormone relaxin. Relaxin is a hormone produced during pregnancy and helps with tissue growth during reproduction. The corpus albicans is a mass of tissue which is formed when the corpus luteum is broken down, which occurs when fertilisation of the egg does not occur (and therefore the woman does not become pregnant). Because the corpus albicans is therefore not present if a woman becomes pregnant, and the hormone relaxin is only produced during pregnancy, the corpus albicans will not secrete relaxin.
You can become pregnant if you have shingles.
That sounds very low to me, for a pregnant lady, and even for someone who is not pregnant infact. As when you become pregnant the hormone progestrone will raise your temperature (just the same as when ovulation occurs) making your temperature higher than usual, the normal mark I would say is between 97 - 99.5
Bananas can be a Migraine trigger in many people. Migraines can become frequent during pregnancy due to hormone changes. See your doctor for appropriate diagnosis and treatment.
A pregnancy test is only something that measures or reacts with the female hormone being released when pregnant. If the hormone level is above a certain level, then the test will indicate a clear pregnancy. It takes some time for the levels of hormones to build up and stabilize. During this build up time, the test will be less accurate and may indicate No when you have actually become pregnant.
A women can most likely become pregnant when she is ovulating.
