You shouldn't. If you need to ask, you shouldn't breed. The only good breeders are responsible breeders who know what they're doing and spend thousands of dollars health checking parents, testing etc. You'd be adding to the population of hundreds of thousands of unwanted dogs and puppies. Get them fixed.
you can breed any maleand female dogs together. you shoud always make sure the male's head is smaller thn the females headin small breed dogs. so the puppies are not to big for her.
Both male and female Lhasa Apsos should weigh between 13 and 15 pounds.
Our male Lhasa-Shih cost $550. The females tend to cost a little more.
Hi Can you tell me when a male chihuahua is ready to breed? I have a female and a male chihuahua and he is trying to hump her. Please answer as soon as possible. Thank you Freda
The Lhasa Apso (lha-sah ap-so) is a non-sporting dog breed originating in Tibet. It was bred as an interior sentinel in the Buddhist monasteries, who alerted the monks to any intruders who entered. Lhasa is the capital city of Tibet and apso is a word in the Tibetan language meaning "bearded," so Lhasa Apso simply means "long-haired Tibetan dog."Male Lhasa Apsos should ideally be 10.75 inches at the withers and weigh about 14-18 pounds, 6-8 kg. The females are slightly smaller, and weigh between 12-14 pounds, 5-7 kg. The breed standard requires dark brown eyes and a black nose, although liver coloured lhasas have a brown nose. The texture of the coat is heavy, straight, hard, neither woolly nor silky, and very dense. Colors include white, golden, rust and parti-colored with various shadings. Lhasas can be with or without dark tips at the end of ears and beard. The tail should be carried well over the dog's back. The breed standard currently used by the American Kennel Club was approved on July 11, 1978.Lhasas can change colour as they get older, starting with a dark brown coat which gradually turns lighter.A movement called the Tibetan Line Breeding Programme exists, to breed preseve the original Tibetan Lhasa Apso. This movement is based on the premise that after 60 years of Western breeding, the breed is losing key characteristics of their original Lhasa ancestors still living in Tibet and Bhutan.------They can be strong-willed dogs and a bit cheeky at times, and some dogs have digestive problems that require frequent cleaning around the tails.
It is better to breed a bigger Chihuauah because smaller Chiuahuahs usually have a hole in their hearts when they are born, so they usually die younger No not that!! I have sombody who has a bigger male chihuahua and I have a smaller girl chihuahua... I read somwehere that it is bad to do that, but I need to make sure!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!! not if it is okay to breed bigger chihuahuas.....???
chihuahua puppies will be small if it is the mother. if it was a male, it could breed with a large dog but it would be bigger but be a medium size
Yes its very possible for the chihuahua to breed your eb. Once she is on heat, she will accept any male dog that's around.
Yes - male Chihuahua's have testicles - just like any other breed of dog.
if it is a male chihuahua with a female blood hound ,that would be possible BUT not recommendable, according to breeders it would be unethical in case of a female chihuahua with a male blood hound NO the chihuahua would likely die in pregnancy or birth so overall the answer should be NO, the bloodhound is too big
Most likely not. You can check with your vet, but the pups would probably be large enough to damage your chihuahua during gestation.
Either way they should not be more than 2lbs apart.
This is an example of canine minification.
