I don't know for sure but I had a Verizon phone and I tried to unlock to use it in T Mobile system. SAMSUNGimeiUnlock.com told me that they are 2 different technologies and een if I unlock the phone with them it can't be used in any GSM network. I have red more on wikipedia about CDMA and GSM so I would say that if your phone is using both of these standards you can. So gine me your phone model and I can answer for sure.

∙ 15y agoYou can't. Verizon uses a CDMA network, and T-Mobile uses a GSM network. The two are incompatible. The only exception is a quad-band phone; these are able to be used on GSM and CDMA networks.

I'd recommend you call Boost Mobile customer service on this one. When I tried doing it in 2010, you could not transfer a Boost Mobile phone number to another carrier (and, just like you, I tried transferring it to Verizon) - you couldn't even transfer a Boost Mobile number to Nextel (Boost Mobile basically was a prepaid Nextel). Things might have changed, now that Nextel has been eliminated and fully folded into Sprint, although I'm doubtful.

TMobile and Verizon are incompatible. As are every other two separate phone services. The only way to use a TMobile sim card in a Verizon phone, is to get the Verizon "unlocked". You can do this at most mobile phone shops, but not all of them and most likely not an official Verizon or TMobile shop. This will cost you.

There are only 2 ways of doing it. By calling Verizon or by going to a Verizon store. With a CDMA device (one that does not have a SIM card) the device has to be manually programmed and the new device's ESN has to be input into their billing system. unfortunatly not. Because Verizon uses a CDMA network and T-Mobile uses a GSM network the two are not compatible. This is due to T-mobile having the need for sim cards where as Verizon simply does not. because of this there is no place in the back of a Verizon phone where you can put a sim card
