Is an Oldsmobile intrigue a good car for teens?
It's not a bad choice. My kid learned on a 99 Intrigue, and insurance isn't too bad (better than a lot of small cars), but we already owned the car. If you need to buy a car for a teen, get a used four door sedan you can pay cash for, and drop the collision coverage. A 99 Olds Intrigue fits the bill, and can be had for less than $3K. I also had a 99 Toyota Corolla, and my insurance agent told me the kid would be cheaper on the Intrigue. Plus the Corolla is more expensive to buy for the wild child to scrape up.

They just unbolt at both ends. I have never seen an actual sway bar break, usually just one of the linkages. You can buy a link kit for about $10. It has the bolt, bushings and caps you will need to replace one end.
