No. The only way you would be able to is if there was an access panel underneath rear seats or in the trunk. But for a 98 Mazda 626 this access panel does not exist. I know from experience. And if you don't have tools and patience, I would recommend not doing it yourself. Because of the way the tank sits, you have to remove the back half of the exhaust to be able to drop the tank. At first it looks as simple as just 2 straps, but once you take those off, you will find yourself doing a lot of more work than that. So if you have experience and patience I say do it yourself but getting the assistance from a friend or local shop will make it a lot easier on you.
