Yes you can. I run three yellow tops in my show truck ( I need them to power 16 12" pioneer premier subs) and there is a trick you wont find in the website. If it is just a little low, charge it like normal. If you left your lights on or for any other reason, and the battery is completely dead and you are having trouble getting it to charge, hook it up to the charger and turn it to boost. You want it to send as many amps as possible to the battery. You leave it on boost for 2 to 3 hours, and the battery should be rejuvenated. This info came directly from optima customer service when I killed my 3 batteries.
yes it will i have a optima battery in my 1995 marquis
Yes, and you can use any charger on an Optima battery as long as the voltage is regulated properly. If your charger will remain on indefinitely, the voltage should be at 13.8 volts maximum with a one-amp maximum current. We would only recommend trickle charge for charge maintenance purposes only.
go to a battery store
Anyplace that sells the Optima battery can tell you the correct size to purchase.
The optima battery is a type of battery that is used in cars. It is sold all over and said to be one of the top-rated car batteries on the market today.
It is a good quality battery. I have one installed in my Toyota that is 5 years old.
Unless it is a rechargeable battery you cannot charge a dry charge battery. If it is rechargeable you need to purchase a charger for that size battery. Automobile batteries are not dry charge.
Best battery? That is debatable. But IMO one of the best batteries you can buy is the Optima.
