An ox sensor is a sensitive component it can easily b damaged it should b replaced at 65 to 75,000 miles for optimum performance. Corrosion ,acids and temperature plus abrasion from carbon take its toll. Replace the sensor.
Purchase a can of mass air flow cleaner and follow the directions on the can. Don't try to clean it with anything else!
You can not successfully clean an oxygen sensor. You need to replace it.
abs sensors are at the axle hub
Check the spark plug for that cyclinder. Clean and regap it, or simply replace it.
No, they will need replaced if defective.
No it is not. The mass air flow sensor measures the amount of air coming into the engine. the O2 sensor measures the amount of oxygen after combustion. The mass airflow sensor is located in the air intake and the O2 sensor is located in the exhaust.
Check and clean the MAF sensor.
I cleaned one once, fully expecting to have to buy a new one, with a very fine wire brush and or steel wool and a little wax and grease remover on a rag. Ididn'thave to buy a new one. the check engine light went out and it ran fine. Hope this helps.
It has two. They must be replaced, not cleaned.
maf sensor or idle air control/ecm. force-clean fuel injectors and reset engine timing and base idle
O2 sensor measures the amount of emissions before and after the catalytic converter then uses that info as to adjust air/fuel ratio (AFR). Sounds to me like you have a clogged EGR valve that is giving you the biz...pull it and clean with brake cleaner
Need to look at the throttle plate and see if it's dirty, if so clean both sides until it's shiney and clean. There's a chance the torque converter is not unlocking. But that is rare.
