No!
The incoming cable needs to go to a modem that converts the incoming DSL Symbols to a digital data stream. This is then passed to the router in the form of some sort of LAN (Local Area Net) format like Ethernet.
There may be combined modem/router devices around, but I am not aware of any.
Note...I used the term "DSL symbols" because the symbol concept was originally a DSL trick, but it is now used in other non-DSL systems. DSL stands for Digital Subscriber Loop...this gets deeper and deeper as I talk about it.
Steam will automatically connect to the Internet if there is a Internet connection available.
You can connect to the Internet with the Dell Inspiron 1100 by connecting to an internet-enabled LAN using Ethernet cable. Another way is to connect a wireless modem through its USB ports.
That is correct only if the TV has at least RCA plugs. The PS3 does not connect to the TV by coaxial to the cable or antenna input

you will probably have to reset your modem because your xbox is not the problem it is your modem which cannot connect to the internet. So i recommend turning the modem off for 30 secs. and then turn it back on and try it.
If you want to use wireless internet to connect a second PC to a router, you can use a cable cord, or coaxial cable. This can be hooked directly to the router.
Not physically - the two mediums have different signaling protocols.
"It requires a satellite dish, as well as coaxial cables to connect the satellite to the modem. You might have to pay for the equipment."
The purpose of using a coaxial splitter is so that one can connect more than one device to a single coaxial line. For instance connecting two TV's to one coaxial line for cable television.
A coaxial cable has great uses in television antenna connections. TV satellite connections also use coaxial cables to connect decoders to the TV set.
There's all kinds of organisations around the world, that enable people around the world the internet. If its the case for me, the organisation that enables my internet, is TEO.
No, you can connect your computer directly to the modem (you need a lan cable for that) if you have one.
If you already have an Airport Extreme Base Station and your Express is used simply to either extend your network range or to use the AirTunes function, then yes you may plug directly to the Express to connect to the internet although the purpose of the Express is to be able to access the internet wirelessly. However, if you do not have an Airport Extreme Base Station and are using only the Express to connect to the internet, then you may not connect to the internet by using an Ethernet cable and plugging into the Express. This is because if you are using the Express to connect the internet, the ethernet plug will need to be plugged into your modem.
coaxial cabling
Yes, you can connect to an older television, simply by using the coaxial connections located on the back of both the unit, and the television. You will also require a coaxial cable to connect the two devices,
Install the antennae outside your home on the roof. Connect a coaxial cable from the antenna to the "ANT" port on the back of the Captive Works box in your house. Connect a coaxial cable to the "TV/VCR" port. Connect the other end to the television.
If the aerial ends in a coaxial cable, connect an f-type end on the cable and screw it to the back of the tv.
