Yes, it will involve a little work and some more parts. The easeyst way to do the job is go to a junk yard and remove the brakes system and front disk with the spindal all in one from another later model truck. You should be able to go up to a 1979. You will need to remove the top and bottom ball joint as well as the tie rod end and brake hose. Removen the complete part as one peace. Be carefull itas going to be very heavy, do both side. Remove the brake booster and brake master. don't forget the brake rod connecte tot he foot pedal. The brake block you will also need. Match and replace all rubber parts, hoses with new, seals and and check the wheel bearrings and wash them and add new grease when you put it together. Bleed the system with new fluid. Good luck and God bless, Lemon Pro
good question. you do not adjust cable on emergency brake in 2004 f250. the emergency brakes are drum type brakes inside the rear brake disk on each wheel.if you know how o adjust drum brakes it is the same adjustment for emergency brake on this vehicle. on the back of the drum there is a small rubber cap. remove this cap and with a flat screwdriver or adjuster tool, you turn the the serated wheel inside the brake drum to adjust the brake shoes out till nearly touching the brake drum it is best to do this with the rear wheels jacked up off the ground, so you can spin the wheel while adjusting. by spinning wheel you will feel when brake shoe is starting to slow wheel and you will then know to stop adjusting. do this on both wheels if you over adjust you will burn brakes out and have to replace brake shoes. this is a pain as you have to remove the disk brake caliper and rotoar to get at the emergency brake
It will be stamped on the drum
Sorry, we have no way to show diagrams. -I would suggest getting the vehicle manual, most libraries carry it.
They look exactly like the rear brakes from a 1969 F250

Where can I find a diagram of a 1999 Ford F250 front disc brakes before I attempt to install them?
Run the truck backwards to about 10 Mph, hit you brakes very hard. This will adjust your brakes in general.
Anything over about 4000 lbs makes stopping very dangerous in mine (manual drum brakes), and the 360 starts to feel a little strained on steep hills. Mine has a C6 auto tranmission. If I had a manual trans and power disc brakes I'm sure I could tow a lot more.
Engages automatic locking hubs on for wheels drives with automatic hubs.
On most cars and trucks you hafto beat the drum off
