It is my understanding that any extended release drug should not be split or altered in any way as it automatically negates the time release effects and may release more or less of the drug into your system.
On the other hand I take 10 milligrams of the generic Adderoll and split it down the scored line and have had no problems. It is not time released though which is why I split it because it wears off at the start of my day.

It's been awhile since I've seen some of them, but I believe most say Adderall then whatever mg they are. I know the 25mg says that, it's like half white have orange. The 30mg is like half orange half clear with little beads inside. Then the 10 or the 20 is pure orange I believe.
