You might get too much butter. I would suggest spreading butter within the cut of the buns.
It might be okay, but instead it will be all toasty and hard and not the kind of warm and toasty buns you get when you toast it the day you make hamburgers. SO my advice is not to toast it.

Texas toast is just thick slices of bread toasted on a grill. You'll need thick sliced bread (which you can buy in most groceries in Texas) or an unsliced loaf that you can slice. Each piece should be about 1 inch thick. Rub butter in a fry pan or on a griddle and place the bread in the butter. When the firs side is browned, rub more butter in the pan and turn the bread. When the second side is browned, it's done. Some people sprinkle garlic powder in the toast.

You will need a egg, 2 slice of bread, 1 dash of vanilla extract, 1 small banana slice, 2 tablespoon of creamy peanut butter, and 2 tablespoon of butter. The preparation will be the as a normal french toast but it will give a twist with the peanut butter and banana.

Tubby Toast has MANY variations on it's recipe, from plain toast to toast with peanut butter, M&Ms, Raisins, etc. The main characteristics of Tubby Toast is to cut the toast into a circle, with a cookie cutter or open can, and making a smiley face on it. The most common is to toast the bread, cut it into a circle, spreading peanut butter on it, then adding eyes, nose, and smile with your M&Ms or Raisins. You can, however, make it out of Cinnamon Toast, too, although it's not the "traditional" version.
