Supreme Court ruling it is not illegal to display a temp tag in the rear window! As long as it is displayed and valid! Permanent Tags are illegal to place in the rear window! If the tag is temporary then it can go in the back window

There is a break between the switch and the rear window. Check for voltage between the gate and the window as this is usually where the problem is. If that checks good (has voltage) then a lot of the time its the main bar on the grid has a break onit these can be fixed as dealer has replacement foil for the gris.

Just bought a 2005 Jeep Liberty Sport. The rear window will not latch. We were told to press on the right side of the plastic on the rear window. I tried it, my son and husband we cannot close the window and my hand hurts. The dealer we bought it from said that's how they are. I find it hard to believe we have to slam it thousands of times. What can we do. There is definitely a malfunction with the latch or the switch on the release handle.
