Yes, only if you download the "Sony Ericsson PC Suite". You can download that. After you download that have iTunes pulled up. On the PC Suite, click ont the folders and then click onto the music folder and drag and drop music from itunes. If you're going to have music, I would suggest you get a memory card for it. But when you drag and drop it immediatly downloads to your phone.
The Question was a sony walkman, not a sony ericsson phone, as I have just purchased a sony walkman as the sony walkman is non-DRM only, which does not allow copying of protected stuff, anyway the itunes site has 8 million of its 10 million songs in drm free,
so it sould not be a problem now, if you find that the downloaded song to be protected I believe there is software you can download to convert them to mp3, then transfer the files onto your device. you need Windows Media Player 11 installed.
You shall not download any Content unless you see a "download" or similar link displayed by YouTube on the Service for that Content.
Unless YouTube provide a download link for an uploaded video, it is against the YouTube Terms of Use to download that video.
You can play ANY kind of video on the Sony Video Walkman, as long as it's in MP4 format (that's not a mis-type, MP4 is 4 films, as opposed to MP3 which is for music.)
You-Tube vids tend to be in .FLV format, which is Flash Video format, which means you'll have to convert the files to MP4s before you put them on the Sony. Now .FLV is about as squashed as a video file can get, so you'll get problems with black/contrast - there won't be any 'nuances' in the shadows, if someone isn't fully lit, he'll look like he's got patches of jet black paint on him! The YouTube web player's designed to get around this a little, so it doesn't show TOO badly, once you've done the conversion it might show up more. That's not because it's been badly converted, it's just an unfortunate problem within the original .FLV file-type.
There are many video enhancement freeware packages around, if you want to adjust colour/contrast etc. on your converted file. I can't mention any names incase this gets targeted as SPAM, sorry. Just look for freeware to convert .FLV to .MP4.
Incidentally, .MP3, just to be confusing(!) was originally a video file-type as well as a music file-type. There were loads of other file-types for compressing music - Ogg Vorbis is a great one - but for some reason MP3 as a music filetype took off so well everyone forgot it had video capabilities! Hence .MP4 being marketed as a video filetype!
It CAN do just sound as well, though .Nothing stopping you from converting .WAV files (best sound quality) to .MP4 files (better sound quality than MP3s but, of course, only playable on .MP4 players.)

you can get it on itunes or there is one that sony made for there MP4s
yes.
Yes but only on this walkman.
By default, iTunes Music uses AAC (Advanced Audio Coding) format. You cannot download iTunes music to Sony MP3 Player. To transfer iTunes files or other files to your portable player, you can use a third-party tool like Macsome iTunes Converter. It is able to download iTunes files and Apple Music songs to MP3, so that you can transfer iTunes music to Sony MP3 Player or other devices without limits.
The link at the left provides a download for Sony Connect (SonicStage) 4.3, [SonicStage CP is the music player software required to purchase, download, transfer, burn and play your music on Sony MP3 Players. Downloading the software is free]
