Yes you can but is super noisy. am not sure why you would want to do this. Unless the truck is choking from the reed filters inside the air cleaner housing that the tubes go to are blocked up or your pre cat convertor is blocked. I might suggest removing the housing for the 3 hoses and replace those filters with some new filters with a like filter sold at advance auto or auto zone. The filters can be cut to size and fit right in place. Your pre-cat convertor is a round jar size below the exhaust manifold and has screens inside that catch carbon and over years can reduce air flow and also degrade or clogged your catalytic convertor and choke your engine of proper air flow thru the exhaust. Many have removed the charge air hoses when the oem carburetor is upgraded to a weber and do away with the emission equipment. There are several steps to do it correctly.
