Not unless you want to feel like your going insane! Talk to your Dr and have him/her make you a taper down schedule. You don't ever want to quit an antidepressant cold turkey. It could kill you and if it doesn't you will feel so crappy you will want to die.

You can try it, although the full 300mg dose of wellbutrin is likely what's needed it if wil work for you. The 150mg doesn't seem to do much for anyone. I tried wellbutrin with just about every ssri out there, in different combinations and dosages but in three years I haven't found anything that significantly offsets the sexual side effects of ssris. Unfortunately, I think that if you're prone to the sexual s/e's of ssri there is nothing you can do about it - other than to stop taking them. It really sucks because I really liked lexapro but in the end had to choose between stress/irritability and the sex.

If you're still concerned, Wellbutrin has a half-life of ~21 hours, so it will be mostly cleared from your body in 2 or 3 days. I haven't found any difficulties with drinking alcohol on Wellbutrin, although I am only on 150 mg daily. I've read that it increases risk of seizures, which is higher with Wellbutrin as it is. My pharmacist told me and I've read online that when you drink alcohol while on wellbutrin it empties the stores of wellbutrin that youre body/brain has accumulated since you started. Yes, my doctor told me I could take benedryl which is the same as diphenhydramine with my Wellbutrin. Even tylonol PM which has benedryl in it, the only thing is Wellbutrin dries your sinuses and so does diphenhydramine, that makes for a major headache.
