I am currently taking penicillin for my tonsilitus infection, I made the mistake of eating a cheese Pizza... let's just say im definately a good 10 pounds lighter...
My guess is that penicillin is a fungus that replaces vital building blocks in the bacteria walls, causing the bacteria to basically fall apart and be consumed by our immune system, that is his it fights bacteria infections, now cheese is the culmination of milk and bacteria (or at its most basic, cheese is virtually just off milk).
In my case the large dose of penicillin I just took after my cheesy pizza is not only fighting my tonsil infection... it has just raised world war 3 in my stomach! Lol, all I can say about the perils of your mac n cheese is that you have been warned :p haha
