Let me start off by saying I am NOT a doctor. But I do have a heart murmer and I do exercise on a regular basis with no real symptoms or abnormalities. However, I have noticed and brought to my doctors attention that if I do any prolonged and hard cardio workouts (ie., crossfit, conditioning, or high intensity circuit training) I will get sharp pains in my chest after the workout. As anyone will tell you you should always talk to your doctor about your condition and the limits you should place on yourself. Don't forget that exercise makes your heart stronger it is a muscle so the more you do the better off you are.
Answer 2: I too have a heart murmur and walk and do any exercise I want to. I love exercise. Please see a cardiologist if you are worried, there are test you can take, but he can advise you best on a program of exercise.
