Fishing is allowed on the north side of the pier. Most of what you are likely to catch are yellow perch, but rock bass and some salmonid are caught as well. Bring your license and respect the limits as the DNR checks regularly. Bring a long handle net if you are going after salmon as the pier is high off the water.
Also there is a parking deal. In after 5am out by 10am for $5 if you show your fishing license to the parking office they will validate your ticket.
