Anything Can be fixed, just depends on how it's broken and what kind of lock. Door lock, each part should be available for replacement. This is true for just about all locks except padlocks. Replaceing the broken part is usually easier than repairing the part.
First remove the Door panel on the vehicle and make sure any of the lock or handle rods are not broken or diaconected. Secondly if that's not the problem you may have a broken door latch. Price varies per brand name on parts but it should not be a huge fix.
You just find the key and twist it in the lock and push the key into the lock until the lock breaks. if the key doesn't work use something stronger and do the same thing!
Nine times out of ten the easiest and cheapest way to fix this is replace it with a working one from the wreckers. Are you sure it doesn't have child lock on?
No such thing as a "reset" you have to fix the problem. Probably broken wire on key lock cyl. or bad key.

If it is the same as mine look for a door latch assembly, that's is what is wrong on mine but I don't know whether yours is broken or not.
take all screws out off the door plastics and then see what has happened but what it could be is a broken sensor

You don't fix it, you replace the door lock actuator.
Remove the door panel, retrieve the lock and put it back in its retainer. Check the lock handle to see if the plastic is broken as most locks falling inside the door actually occur because someone has punched the lock in an attempt to break in.
