It is more simple than you could imagine. Buy a paintbrush and a small bottle of miracle bubbles.....the stuff kids blow bubbles with. It is dish soap, water, and GLYCERIN mixture. Simply "paint" the mixture on the pool ring. Its thick and stays nicely, and EVERY SPOT there is even a teensy hole, it will blow a big, long lasting bubble. I found all seven cat slits in ten minutes on my 12 ft. pool. Amazing!

Yes you can! Our neighbors gave us a 13'x42" INTEX metal side pool stating that it had a small hole in the bottom. Turns out, it had 6 small holes in the bottom. So, we bought a vinyl patch kit found in the pool section at Walmart. We followed the instructions for patching underwater holes. We cut out the plastic piece bigger than the hole and rounded the corners. Put the glue on the piece, but DO NOT rub the glue with the dobber like the instructions said because it dries the glue too quickly. Fold the piece in half & immediately go to the hole & place it on. Then firmly hold the bottle on patch & roll it a little. Surprisingly they have held up. Hopefully we can make it through the summer. Good Luck!

A person can fix tiny holes in the ring of an Intex pool by using a latex patch kit. A person must ensure that the area is clean and free of water before applying the patch.

How do you find a tiny hole in the top inflated ring of a intex above ground pool?

Get it wet, look for bubbles. If it's on the outside of the pool where soap wouldn't get in, put a little dish-soapy water on the area (you don't want to get soap in your pool!!!!), and look for a LOT of bubbles.

Who makes a 15' x 27' x 52 above ground pool?

The company that is best known for making a 15'' x 27'' x 52'' above ground pool is Intex. Intex offers metal framed pools in addition to pools that have a blowup ring around the top.

How do you find a tiny hole in the top inflated ring of a intex above ground pool if you are having to inflate the top ring daily and can't locate a hole and you have tried using soap and water?

Wow what a tough question! This is a real head scratcher. After consulting with other Guru's here on top of the 3-meter diving tower here is what we came up with. One of the issues here may be that the leak may not be on top of the inflatable ring but underneath and/or at the seam where the ring meets the wall of the pool, which will make it awkward to apply the soap and water mix. So try this. Mix a soap and water solution in a 4 to on mixture. 4 parts soap and 1 part water. Then try applying it with either a spray bottle or on a very wet rag up under the ring on both the inside and out side of the pool. Now for the catch, you really do not want to get this mixture into the pool or the water will start to foam when it is agitated so try to keep the solution getting into the pool to a minimum. We all feel this is really your best bet. The other options buy a new Intex pool or buy a hard wall above ground pool, but these are very expensive options soap is much cheaper!

How do you repair the valve on the inflatable ring on the top of an above ground pool?

I found a leak by inflating it and spraying a heavy liguid soap and water mix and watching for bubbles and movement. Sad thing is I didn't find all the leaks which brought me here. I would also like some 'miracle fluid' :) to fill it with to stop the leaks. Still looking. -Dave

How do you fix a hole at the base of the air outlet in the top blue ring of an Intex pool after you have used two different glues that will not hold because of the location and air will not stay in it?

Walgreens sells a vinyl repair product called POWER POXY that works well when used as directed. Depending on what glues you may have already tried, it may be difficult to remove them to provide a clean repair surface.

Is there a vinyl repair that will hold up the air pressure of the ring on an easy set pool ring?

I assume you have a leak - yes you can use a standard repair patch on it usually a vinyl pool comes with a repair kit but just go to your local pool supply place and pick up a vinyl repair kit. MP macintalkpro@yahoo.com

How do you repair a small puncture hole from a nail in PVC pressure water pipe embedded in cement flooring?

If the hole is clear of the concrete get a little bit of pipe 25mm or an inch and cut it along the length so that you have a ring that opens up. Get some PVC primer and PVC solvent cement . use the primer to clean the outside of the pipe with the hole in it and the inside of the patch. put solvent cement on the pipe around where the patch is going. stretch the ring so it opens up and covers the hole and hold it in place. you can do this with a suitable hose clamp. wait a couple of hours before use. if you can reach the inside of the pipe you can use a similar procedure,
