Best Answer

No, because they have been dried. Putting them in the freezer may prolong their life though. But they do not freeze.

Black Tea is the most popular tea all over the world. It comes from the Camellia Senesis plant. Black tea is made from the young tea leaves and the buds. The leaves and buds are completely fermented or oxidized after they have been dried. Black tea has a strong, bitter flavor. Some different types of black teas are Orange Pekoe, and Earl Gray. Green Tea comes from the same plant as black tea, Camellia Senesis. It is even made from the same leaves as the black tea. The difference is that green tea does not go through a fermenting process. Instead the leaves are steamed after they are dried. Green tea has a grassy flavor.

Project report on comparison of caffeine in tea and coffee?

Coffee has more caffeine than tea. For more details about tea: Most "tea" such as black, green and white tea are all made from the same plant called Camellia Sinensis. However, black tea has the most caffeine, then green, then white. This is because white tea is made from new camellia sinensis leaves (or baby tea leaves they are sometimes called), green tea is made when the leaves are a little older, and black tea is made from even older leaves. White tea also has the most antioxidants (beneficial). The newer the leaves, the more antioxidants and the less caffeine a tea has. The older the leaves, the less antioxidants and more caffeine it will have. Hope this was helpful! = )

Oolong tea is made from the leaves of the tea plant like other teas. Most teas are made from the first two leaves at the tip of a branch, and some teas are made from the buds of tip leaves. Oolong tea is distinct from others because of its distinct oxidation process. Oxidation is the process that turns green tea into black tea. Oolong is partially oxidized and is considered somewhere in the middle of green and black tea.

What the ingredients of black tea?

Black tea is merely the oxidized leaf of the plant Camellia Sinensis. For the finest quality tea, the top two leaves and bud are picked, wilted, rolled, oxidized, sorted and dried. Technically there is only two ingredients in black tea - Tea Leaf and Water.
