Yes! But i wouldn't recomend it unless you are going to let it cook for a few hours because the sauce (pre made sauce) has a low content of water. Of course you could make your own sauce with canned tomatos diced canned tomatoes peeled tomato paste dryed, basil, rosmary fresh garlic, salt, pepper, oilve oil, and Water and just make it extra watery and let it cook down its the same method you use to make a pasta casserole or lasagna.
You can keep them in a stainless steel pot in the refrigerator for five to seven days.
No, throw the marinade out that has had raw meat in it. Make a new one if you want to baste it while cooking.
until it is brown in the middle or 160 degrees in the middle
Yes. It doesn't matter also how you freeze the meatballs and sauce. ;)
Sauce with meatballs should be good stored in the refrigerator for 3 to 4 days.
Yes
A good appetizer recipe for meatballs is sweet and sour meatballs. The recipe is: For sauce, in a large skillet stir together cranberry sauce and barbecue sauce. Cook over medium heat until cranberry sauce is melted, stirring occasionally.Add meatballs to sauce. Cook, uncovered, for about 10 minutes or until meatballs are heated through, stirring occasionally. Serve immediately or keep meatballs warm in a slow cooker on low setting to serve. Makes 16 servings.
four to five hours
You can cook spaghetti with tomato sauce, and have meatballs on the side. That way your vegaterians can eat the tomato sauce and noodles and the real eaters can add some meatballs.. Garlic Bread and salad also go great with spaghetti, all of which are easy to make.
Yes, you can
Yes, you can do this. My mother in law always made spaghetti sauce with chicken legs and thighs (bone in) and meatballs made of plain hamburg. Heat sauce to simmering - don't boil it or it will splatter and burn. Add rinsed chicken legs / thighs and or meatballs into sauce, they don't need to be cooked, you add them raw. Simmer for about 40 mins, stirring gently after about 15 minutes making sure not to break the meatballs. Stir occasionally as it cooks. Serve sauce over spaghetti with the chicken on the side.
A quart of sauce should be enough as long as they are not huge meatballs. you want to have enough sauce so that they don't dry out. People like to have sufficient sauce, especially if it is a yummy one. Sauce also helps facilitate keeping the meatballs sufficiently warm without burning if you have them in a chafing dish or crockpot for serving.
The limit is 3-5 days on cooked food. The safest way to do it is to date with a label all the things you cook three to five days from when you first prepared it. If the date is expired throw it out. Also, if it has been sitting out for a long time without heat under it, throw it out.
You cannot cook and Aardvark is 100% and possible unless you have steak sauce.
6 people per pound and 4.5 cups sauce per pound. But I suggest penne pasta. Much easier to cook large quantities
