There have been a few revolvers made with interchangeable 22LR and 22 magnum cylinders. However, you cannot add a cylinder unless made for that from the start (22 mag has a larger bore diameter). FIE was the importer, not the maker of arms with their name on it- and they have been out of business for several years. IF you have a "convertable" .22, you may find a cylinder through Numrich, Shotgun News, or similar dealers in used parts.
they both say 22 knock yourself out
Probabably 22LR. Have it checked by a gunsmith.
NEVER attempte to fire ammunition in a weapon it is not chambered for.
0-200 USD or so
Depending on condition, they would usually fall between $200-$300.
Numrich Arms website has expoded view. e-gunparts.com
made in 1980's sold in OTASCO stores
$150-$250 depending on condition, and if you have both cylinders- 22LR and 22 WMR.
Want ad, pawn shop, gun show, gun shop
$25-$75. Low cost firearms, no longer imported, indifferent quality. Same with the 22lr, 22mag, and 38spl.
No. .22 Magnum and .22 Long Rifle are not interchangeable.
If the cylinder is in fact chambered for .22LR, and is fitted and timed correctly, then .22LR ammunition would be correct to use. Using .22LR ammunition in a .22 Magnum chamber will cause the case to split. If in doubt, have it checked by a gunsmith. sales@countrygunsmith.net
