Can I get a clean title from a repaired salvage titile in NH?
I am sure it is similar to a Salvage title. The car has been wrecked and repaired.
Assuming it's been repaired to roadworthiness, roughly 60% of the value of a comparable 99 caddy with a clean title.
Typically, salvage vehicles' value are 40% less than that of a comparable car with a clean title. This is assuming the car has been repaired/rebuilt properly and is roadworthy.
You cant make a salvage title clean in any state. Once it has salvage on it, it can not be reversed.
Respective of the Vehicles title condition, You are entitled to fair market Value. Basically this means you are entitled to the amount it would cost you to purchase the same or similar type and condition vehicle. when you say has a clean title but had a prior salvage title, i am assuming you mean that the vehicle was repaired and inspected by your state and deemed no longer a salvage title? if that is the case then there would be no additionaldeduction for the 'branded' or salvage title which can lower a vehicles actual cash value anywhere from 25-50% whether repaired or not.........more details and perhaps i could be of more assistance......
When an automobile is issued a salvage title, the automobile can never get a clean title. The salvage title will always remain with the vehicle.
40% less than a comparable clean titled car
yes
Once a salvage title always a salvage title. You may get totaled/reconstructed or some other wording but the car will never be clean again, it will remain branded and it is illegal to do otherwise. To remove the 'salvage' on the title would defraud the next buyer. It would be unethical and probably illegal.
Depends on the existing title, if the salvage company owns the vehicle and it does not have a salvage title then they would be just another owner like anyone else and this vehicle would have a clean title assuming that there are no lean holders. On the other hand if the vehicle in question has already received a salvage/non repairable or similar title then salvage/non repairable or similar title would follow the vehicle not a clean title.
Once a vehicle has an Ohio Salvage title assigned, the history remains with that VIN until the vehicle is scrapped. The Registrar in your county will issue a Repaired Salvage , or "branded" Title that you can get your license plates with. You cannot obtain a Clear title for this car.
It means that the car was damaged, but was not reported as a salvage title. A PS Title is Pre-Salvage. It is a clean original title on a car that in most cases should have been transferred as a salvage title, but for whatever reason was not.
