It is possible. It is better to try another one and be more certain.
Usually different results from pregnancy tests come from using the test too early. Taking the test too soon will cause a test to read a false negative. Some HPT are more sensitive than others, they will read positive sooner than a less sensitive test. False negative results are very common from using the test too early, false positive is almost unheard of unless the test kit was damaged somehow. Always check the kit before using it, including the expiration date and follow directions.
The blood test are very very accurate. So you may of had a false hpt. If you only had sex the once you wont get a positive until about a week or more later. The blue dye hpt are the worse about giving false positives, but the blood test can even be used to date a pregnancy!
Since phantom pregnancy is a false pregnancy, I advice that every woman should try to note the date her menstrual cycle start n ends, by so doing when missed she Can detect whether she is pregnant or not.
Certainly .. it can give a false negative reading, too. If past the recommended date for use, it should be discarded and a new kit bought. There is a very good reason why those expiration dates are put on items ... their shelf life is limited as the chemicals used for the measurement process do not last forever.
yes it happen to me according to doctor i just conceive before my due date so get 5 negative result i got my positive result after 15 days
pregnancy lasts for a periods of 40 weeks from last missed periods. Pregnancy lasts for 38 weeks from the date of conception. Normally you do not know the date of conception. The date of last periods is taken normally to calculate the weeks of pregnancy.
your probably just really worried about it and thinking about it to much. wait a little bit until you get your period and if your period doesnt come about a week after the due date take a pregnancy test again. you have to wait about 13 days in order for the test to show the real result.
A pregnancy calculator helps calculate the date of delivery.
It depends on the quality of the home test (some are more accurate than others, and some out-of-date pregnancy tests may fail) but more often than not, tests that are incorrect are incorrect by showing a false negative. Various things can contribute to false positives, but they are usually due to either medications (rare) or endocrine maladies. I'd take another, but via a blood test at the doctor's office. I think you're pregnant.
