Can you get a house on elder scrolls IV oblivion?

At any town except for Anvil and the Imperial City go to the Count or Countess and ask him/her about it .

In the Imperial City go to the Market District (north east of the Palace District), go to the shop named the Office of Imperial Commerce and talk to the woman about buying a house (it's 2000 gold).

In Anvil go to the Count's Arms (an inn opposite the main gate), talk to Velwyn Benirus and ask about Benirus Manor (it's 5000 gold).

Sadly, I'm afraid not (at least I don't think so). Or though you you CAN easily kill someone and nick their house(And if your very good or you have a good weapon, you can take a HUGE house or even a manor!) But of course if you want a real challenge then you could try to take over all the manors in Ald'ruhn which would include killing tons of hlallu guards,some telavanni wizards,commonors and you could try killing the people who own those little shops which would include killing MORE guards.If your a REAL champion though you could try to destroy the whole of Vivec!(try molag mar to start you off though).

If you can manage all that your definitely a champion so well done

P.S:If you can do all that then why the hell haven't you defeated Dagoth Ur , GET OUT THERE TO THE THE GHOST GATE AND KILL HIM!!!!!!

There are several houses you can get in fallout new Vegas, there's one at the lucky 38 casino (that Mr. House gives you), there's one at the tops casino (after you kill Benny you get the key to his room and it's all yours, novac has a room you can rent for 100 caps (just the once and the rooms yours top left room), the vault in Vegas also has a hotel room (same deal as the other one), and all the different factions have a safehouse that you can earn though gaining fame.

yes you can for instance if you were in solitude where the stuart is there will be a couberd and you ask to buy a house and you say ill take it then quickley exit and put your money in the coubourd and he will give you the key to your house and wala the house is yours after youve purchased the house take the money back out and do the same with the furnishings and your then awesome

you can also upgrade them and in the house in Skindgrad there is a hidden quest
