Not really, licenses are only given to magicians etc who make a living out of the rabbits in their acts and also laboritories.education licenses are no longer given out
You cannot get a licence to own a Rabbit for a pet...not in Qld
No. Rabbits are banned as pets in Queensland as they pose too great a risk to the environment through the actions of irresponsible pet owners who happily abandon their pets out in the bush. Rabbit licences are also not issued for educational purposes. There is no need for a school to keep a pet rabbit when a guinea pig will do just as well. That means you cannot get a licence to keep rabbits in Queensland. Exceptions may be made for certain animal sanctuaries, but some of these keep rabbits illegally - or out of ignorance - because it is too difficult for them to obtain the necessary permission. Fines are quite high and it is not worth the risk.

It depends on where you live. Your local (regional) government probably has some sort of Animal Services, or Wildlife & Game, or some such department. If you visit your local government's website, you'll probably find the information you need or, if not, contact details for someone you can ask.

No. It is illegal to keep rabbits as pets anywhere in Queensland. They are declared pests. Once, schools could have them as classroom pets, but even that is illegal now.
Guinea pigs are more popular as you can purchase them from local pet shops. Rabbits may not be kept as pets at all in the state of Queensland, and are illegal to have as a pet in Australia without a special licence which can cost a few hundred dollars to obtain on top of the costs of trying to get the per rabbit in the first place.
